1. Provider and scope

pagedar is provided by [Pagedar GmbH / legal entity to be completed], [Street and number], 1010 Vienna, Austria. These Terms apply when you access or use pagedar, including rankings, reviews, accounts, reports, APIs, beta features, and related services.

Additional terms may apply to paid features, APIs, enterprise services, or developer tools once launched.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You may sign in through supported providers such as Google, email/password, and, if enabled, Apple. Your use of those sign-in methods is also subject to the relevant provider's terms and privacy notices.
  • You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliations, or create accounts to manipulate rankings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, law, or platform integrity rules.

3. User content

Users are responsible for reviews, ratings, comments, reports, profile information, links, and other content they submit. pagedar does not endorse user content and does not make user content its own merely by displaying, ranking, moderating, summarising, or organising it.

By submitting content, you grant pagedar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, analyse, moderate, translate, and summarise that content for operating, improving, securing, and promoting pagedar.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law, third-party rights, these Terms, or our Community Guidelines.

Reviews may be submitted to a moderation queue before publication. A submitted review is not guaranteed to be published, ranked, displayed, or retained.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not submit illegal, hateful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, privacy-invasive, misleading, spammy, or infringing content. You must not manipulate ratings, coordinate fake reviews, scrape the service without permission, bypass security, interfere with the platform, or use pagedar to harm others.

The Community Guidelines explain these rules in more detail and are incorporated into these Terms.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may use automated tools, AI-assisted review, user reports, trusted signals, anti-abuse checks, authentication metadata, CAPTCHA or Turnstile verification, and human review to detect and act against illegal content, rule violations, spam, coordinated manipulation, and security risks.

We may remove content, reduce visibility, add context, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other proportionate measures. Where required, we provide reasons and appeal options through our Notice and Action process.

6. AI summaries and automated checks

pagedar may use AI systems to summarise review themes, identify what users like or criticise, flag abusive patterns, support moderation, and create structured quality signals. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or influenced by the underlying reviews.

AI summaries are informational aids, not guarantees, legal advice, safety certifications, endorsements, or replacements for reading the underlying reviews and source materials.

7. Rankings and website information

Scores, rankings, labels, summaries, and quality signals are based on available data, user submissions, automated checks, editorial decisions, and platform rules. They may change at any time and may contain errors.

Website owners may contact us to report inaccurate information, request review of a listing, or raise legal concerns through the Notice and Action page.

8. Third-party services and links

pagedar may link to third-party websites or use third-party providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, Apple, jsDelivr, GitHub, hosting providers, AI providers, email providers, analytics providers, and payment providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Provider names, logos, buttons, and sign-in flows may be subject to the provider's brand and developer rules. pagedar may change, disable, or add providers if required for security, compliance, availability, or provider-policy reasons.

9. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold pagedar harmless from third-party claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful content, your breach of these Terms, your infringement of third-party rights, or your misuse of the service.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health where such exclusions are not permitted.

To the extent permitted by law, pagedar is not liable for user content, third-party websites, indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, reputational damage, or decisions made in reliance on rankings, reviews, summaries, or beta features.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms when the service, law, providers, or risk profile changes. Significant changes will be communicated in an appropriate way. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Courts in Vienna, Austria, have jurisdiction where legally permissible.

Mandatory consumer protection rules, mandatory data protection rules, Digital Services Act obligations, and other mandatory laws may still apply depending on the user, claim, and territory.
